Today Fifth and Sixth Class pupils practised their skills at CPR (compressions).
The 1977 Disco hit ‘Staying Alive’ is a super song to learn the correct rhythm to accompany CPR chest compressions.
100 compressions per minute! Wow!

Fire Safety Talk for Third and Fourth Classes
Thank you to the Abbeyleix Fire Safety Officers for visiting our school on Tuesday 25th October. Third and Fourth learned a lot about fire safety in the home and were asked to complete a check list with their parents for homework.

We have been studying the Life and Work of Gustav Klimt. Gustav used a lot of gold in his artwork.
We created a version of his painting – Adele Bloch Bauer.

Senior Infants (English & Maths) :-)

Senior Pupils have been studying foods from around the world as part of the senior Geography Programme.
We decided to make some delicious Italian pizza. We even used our FOOD DUDES’ peppers in the topping. Well done!

We learned lots about creating games and about apps when The Irish Computer Society came to our school during EU Code Week.
